I'd already sent the message before I read your post. I've met Jack a few times, mostly at "Alternatives" summer events, in sylvan settings north of Montréal very similar to where the flower of social-democratic youth were massacred in Norway. Indeed a dark, dark week, though those concerned on both sides on the pond call upon us to hope:
