This long, wet season is finally improving, and I saw this glorious display this morning.
The garden centres are full of plants, and the elementary school our kids went to is holding a plant and flower sale today. But I think I'll wait before I put anything outside. In this year of fickle weather, this time of climate change, anything can happen!
I set my geraniums out on the balconies, as well as the hardier herbs. I can always bring them in if there is risk of a freeze. The hardware store at the corner of Bernard and Parc, formerly a RONA, now a HOME, had herbs for $1, but I refrained from buying basils and other tender herbs. I'll buy basil in larger quantities at JTM in a couple of weeks.
