Had a major fire next door, which left us with smoke and collateral damage. I'll probably be keeping radio silence for the next few days.
But we're fine, and the insurance company seems to be doing the right thing.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I was at the corner of avenue du Parc and Laurier (I'm feeding a friend's cat nearby) and saw a huge array of emergency vehicles speeding towards some Outremont destination, so I guess it was your neighbours. Those old houses are so pretty and I'm sorry about their major damage and your collateral damage.
