Saturday Photo: Temperatures Drop, but the Chilis Keep It Hot
Jean Talon Market is full of produce right now, the bounty of months of sun and summer rain. I've never bought a skein of chilis, but a string of garlic is something that I'll have to get this year. By spring, the stores here are selling garlic from China, which seems incredible. Far better for the local growers and our carbon imprint if we buy garlic from Quebec, it seems to me.
