Hard at work on Making Waves: The Portuguese Adventure which I'm supposed to get Simon Dardick at Véhicule Press by the end of the month. Not much time, therefore, for a post. But here's an interview with the producer of Garapa, a film about poverty in Brazil I saw last fall at Montreal's World Film Festival. A gripping documentary, that seems more and more important the further I travel into writing about Brazil.
