Saturday Photo: Why Not a Fall Picnic? Perhaps with Some Apple Jack?
You might need gloves to keep you fingers warm, but a sunny day like today is a good enough excuse to take your sandwiches outside. Bring a long a bottle of wine too, since it still isn't cold enough to freeze alcoholic beverages!
Although, now that I think of it, I'm reminded of my uncle who used to make apple cider in Prohibition days, and then leave it outside in the Eastern Washington winters. The apple juice part froze, but the alcohol stayed liquid longer--distillation, in effect, without the apparatus.
